Legislators from District 42 host joint open house at Capitol

ST. PAUL, Minn. – State Senator Bev Scalze (DFL-Little Canada), State Representative Barb Yarusso (DFL-Shoreview), and State Representative Jason Isaacson (DFL-Shoreview) will host a joint Legislative Open House Thursday, June 27 from 6:30 to 7:30pm in the House of Representatives Retiring Room at the State Capitol (75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. St. Paul). Attendees should enter through the Capitol’s main doors on the building’s south side. Parking is also available in front of the south entrance.
The June 27 Open House will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the 2013 legislative session as well as discuss how the laws passed this year impact District 42. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend and joint the conversation.
“I anticipate an educational and thoughtful discussion with the residents of District 42,” said Senator Scalze. “This is a great way to hear directly from constituents and ensure we’re keeping the lines of communication open.”
