A place for children, growing
For more than 30 years, the Minnesota Children’s Museum as served as a place for children to play, be creative and help increase child development through interactive learning environments and programs. Since 1996, the Children’s Museum has attracted more than six million visitors and has won numerous awards for its quality facility and educational opportunities. I am hoping the Children’s Museum’s request for $14 million for renovations and expansions will become part of the final bonding package. The funds will be used to add more public space, incorporate the latest research on early learning, allow for state of the art education facilities, help engage children in STEM concepts and continue to serve communities across the state.
