Investing in Education – Sen. Chuck Wiger

Through the supplemental budget, the Senate DFL is currently working to make targeted investments in the state’s education system to give all kids an opportunity to receive a quality education. The E-12 Education Finance Committee recently released their supplemental budget. Some of the highlights include invests in:

• Early learning scholarships
• Early Childhood Family Education
• School readiness aid
• Reading Corps
• English Language Learner
• Vision Therapy
• School lunch programs
