Auditor’s Report on Markingson Case to be heard in Senate Committee

ST. PAUL, Minn. – At 2:00 p.m. today at the request of Chair Senator Terri Bonoff (DFL-Minnetonka) the Senate Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee will hear the Office of the Legislative Auditor’s presentation on findings related to the Dan Markingson case at the University of Minnesota.

The report will be made available online at 1:00 p.m. at http://www.auditor.leg.state.mn.us/.

Immediately following the Auditor’s report, there will be a presentation on an external review of clinical research involving human subjects done by a panel of independent experts which is available here: http://www.research.umn.edu/news/documents/final_report.pdf
