John Hoffman sworn in as Minnesota State Senator

ST. PAUL, Minn – Senator John Hoffman (DFL-Champlin) was sworn in on Tuesday for his second term as the State Senator representing Senate District 36 including Champlin, Coon Rapids and Brooklyn Park. The ceremony took place at the newly-re-opened Minnesota State Capitol. Sen. Hoffman is one of 33 DFL senators, including nine first-term DFL senators who attended their first swearing-in ceremony. Hoffman says he is looking forward to working on issues that will help improve the lives of Minnesotans.

“I am looking forward to continuing the work I started four years ago to ensure education equity, closing the achievement gap and protecting our state’s most vulnerable citizens. Now is the time to put aside the partisanship of elections and get to work for the people of Minnesota,” said Sen. Hoffman.
