Sen. Jason Isaacson sworn in as Minnesota State Senator
ST. PAUL, Minn – Senator Jason Isaacson (DFL- Shoreview) was sworn in on Tuesday as the State Senator representing Senate District 42. Isaacson served four years in the House of Representatives before becoming the SD 42 State Senator. Isaacson’s top issues include creating living wage jobs for Minnesotans, expanding job skills, and affordable housing.
Senator Bakk appointed Isaacson to serve on the Jobs and Economic Growth Policy Committee, Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, and the Agriculture, Rural Development and Housing Policy Committee. Isaacson is honored to serve on committees that address these important issues for the district.
“I’m honored to serve on committees that reflect my interest in creating strong jobs with decent wages, supporting higher education and skills training and making sure everyone has a decent place to live,” Sen. Isaacson said.
Isaacson represents Senate District 42 which includes Arden Hills, Gem Lake, Little Canada, Mounds View, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, and parts of Roseville, Spring Lake Park, and Blaine.
