Supplemental Tax Omnibus Includes Tax Relief, Paid Family Leave

The Senate supplemental tax omnibus bill provides tax relief for working families, helps combat the growing burden of student debt, and creates a new paid leave program for Minnesota workers. Cracking Down on Patent Trolls

Patent assertion entities (PAEs) who deceptively target small businesses can now face legal action thanks to S.F. 1321, which passed off the Senate Floor unanimously today. The bill gives the Attorney General authority to pursue civil action against PAEs – commonly called patent trolls – who make bad faith claims against someone on a patent infringement.
