Minnesota Senate Adjourns Second Special Session After Passing Police Accountability Measures, No Local Jobs and Projects Bill

Today, the Minnesota State Senate adjourned a second special session after passing foundational police accountability legislation led by the People of Color and Indigenous (POCI) caucus. Senate Republicans revealed the costs of hiring outside legal counsel would be covered by an extreme, anti-abortion organization, Life Legal Defense Foundation.
