Revocation reductions programs

According to numerous studies, access to stable housing, employment, and counseling services are huge factors in determining the success of an offender post-release. Using federal funds, the Department of Corrections has implemented several successful programs aimed at helping offenders adjust to life outside of prison. However, the federal funding to pay for these programs is no longer available. These provisions provide $1 million in funding to several communities across the state for sustained case planning, housing assistance, employment help, life skills programing, and transportation assistance.
