PAUL, Minn – Senator Nick Frentz (DFL- N. Mankato) was sworn in on Tuesday as the State Senator representing Senate District 19. Among his top legislative priorities are better jobs, transportation, and education. Frentz is looking forward to working hard for the constituents of Senate District 19.
Senator Bakk appointed Frentz to serve on the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee; Aging and Long-Term Care Committee; and Agriculture, Rural Development, and Housing Finance Committee. Frentz is honored to serve on committees that address important issues for the district.
“Transportation and agricultural issues are critical to the economic success of southern Minnesota. Providing quality long-term care for our aging and disabled populations presents workforce challenges that will need to be addressed in rural Minnesota. I look forward to tackling these issues, as well,” said Senator Frentz.
