ST. PAUL, MN – State Senator Roger Reinert (DFL-Duluth) will meet with constituents on Friday, March 15 to discuss the Governor’s tax proposals for the 2014-15 biennium. The meeting will take place from 7:00–8:30 PM in the Montague 70 (MonH on campus map) lecture hall on UMD’s campus.

“Governor Dayton’s tax proposals play a major role in our budget discussions. I am pleased to have Commissioner Frans attend our community meeting and speak in more detail about the Governor’s ideas for Minnesota,” said Sen. Reinert. “I anticipate a thoughtful discussion with Duluthians on Friday.”
Community town halls give area residents the opportunity to meet their local legislators and discuss in-person, the important state issues being heard at the Capitol. All Duluth residents are invited to attend and participate in the evening’s conversation. “It’s important that the lines of communication between folks in Duluth and my work in St. Paul stay open and active,” continued Sen. Reinert.
