St. Paul, Minn.—State Senator Patricia Torres Ray (DFL-Minneapolis) will be speaking at the Woman’s March Minnesota on Saturday, January 21, 2017. The march is expected to draw thousands of women from across the state and will start at 11 am at St. Paul College, Lot E. There is a noon rally to be held on the south stairs of the MN State Capitol in St. Paul.
The Woman’s march will bring a diverse coalition of women and activists together to rally around women’s and human rights issues. Sen. Torres Ray plans to speak about inclusion, diversity and equity. “We will stand together in solidarity with our sisters, partners and children for the protection of women’s rights, our health, our families, and our safety” Sen. Torres Ray said.
Many Latina women and women of color will be gathering with Sen. Torres Ray at the capitol before the march.
