Minnetonka, Minn. – Senator Steve Cwodzinski (DFL-Eden Prairie) toured Eagle Ridge Academy today and met with students, staff, and administrators. The tour gave Senator Cwodzinski the opportunity to hear about the unique academic approach at Eagle Ridge.
“As a former teacher, visiting local schools is one of my favorite things to do as an elected official, and to see firsthand the impact of a great education,” said Sen. Cwodzinski. “I love to hear personally from students and teachers about their issues and concerns.
Eagle Ridge Academy first opened in 2008, and was the first public charter school in the southwest suburban area specifically dedicated to offering a demanding college-preparatory, classical, liberal-arts curriculum. The school’s mission is to provide our students with a traditional, classical education that demands their best in academic achievement, behavior, and attitude, while challenging them to attain their highest potential.
