Senator Dibble Statement on Governor Dayton’s Transportation Projects

St. Paul, MN – Today, Governor Dayton released a list of proposed transportation projects that could only be completed with a substantial boost to the dedicated funding for Minnesota’s transportation network. Senate Transportation and Public Safety Committee Chair Sen. Scott Dibble (DFL-Minneapolis) released the following statement in support of a comprehensive approach to transportation funding and investment.

“Investing in our transportation network is win-win for the state of Minnesota. These projects will boost Minnesota economically, strengthen the foundation of our transportation network, and expand opportunity for every Minnesotan. We should take advantage of the momentum we have this year to pass a comprehensive funding package that can keep Minnesota moving forward and guarantee we have the 21st century transportation network that every Minnesotan deserves and expects. I share the Governor’s vision for making the 2015 Legislative Session the Transportation Session.”
