ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senator Kari Dziedzic (DFL – Minneapolis) received a Legislator of Distinction award from the League of Minnesota Cities for her work this past session. This is the third time Sen. Dziedzic has been named a Legislator of Distinction from the League.
The League of Minnesota Cities cited Sen. Dziedzic’s work as a key legislator on the Senate Tax Committee including her work with tax increment financing, as well as her work on building consensus and putting together balanced legislation in regards to complex issues like data practices and civil liability. Furthermore, Sen. Dziedzic was praised for being regularly accessible to members of the League of Minnesota Cities and consulting with members on issues.
“It is crucial to the legislative process to build relationships, work together and try to find consensus when crafting legislation,” said Senator Dziedzic. “I’m proud to reach out to and work with the League of Minnesota Cities to move forward and find solutions to the pressing issues that are affecting our cities.
