Senator Franzen to serve on the Health and Human Services Committee

SAINT PAUL, MINN. – State Senator Melisa Franzen, DFL-Edina, will fill the vacant seat left by HHS Commissioner Tony Lourey on the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee beginning this week.

“I’m honored to return to the HHS committee and look forward to working on the important health and human service issues facing Minnesotans today,” said Sen. Franzen. “As a past vice-chair of the committee for four years, I am ready to hit the ground running to improve access to quality, affordable healthcare for the entire state.”
