ST. PAUL, MINN – State Senator Tony Lourey (DFL-Kerrick) released the following statement following recent leadership changes at MNsure:
“I want to express my thanks to April Todd-Malmov for providing a strong vision for Minnesota’s health insurance exchange over the past two years.
As MNsure confronts its most urgent challenges, I am pleased with Scott Leitz’s appointment as Interim CEO. Scott has a deep background in implementing complex health care initiatives under the previous three administrations and his leadership will be critical in resolving the major problems MNsure is currently experiencing.
Making sure Minnesotans are able to choose the right insurance for themselves and their families is our top priority. I look forward to working with Scott to achieve this most important goal.”
