Senators condemn religious persecution

On Monday, a group of bi-partisan legislators were joined by religious leaders as they held a press conference condemning religious persecution across the globe. This comes after the introduction of a bill calling for the state to recognize worldwide religious persecution. Over the past few months, the world has been rocked by religion-motivated tragedy: from Paris to Somalia and from Copenhagen to North Carolina, people are being attacked and killed for their beliefs. The bill asks the Legislature to recognize and condemn this problem. (S.F. 15)
