St. Paul, Minn. – During the final weeks of the 2019 Legislative Session, the class of 6th graders from the South Ridge School of Culver paid a visit to the State Capitol, with a tour and meeting with their elected officials including Senator David Tomassoni (DFL-Chisholm) and Representative Dave Lislegard (DFL-Aurora).
“It was a joy to see these young kids after they had toured our historic Capitol. Speaking to them and answering their questions about the legislative process was a delight,” said Senator Tomassoni. “These kids will be the future leaders of our community and were impressive in their knowledge and the questions they asked.”
“I’m always grateful when people make the trip down to Saint Paul, and it was especially rewarding to spend some time with these students and share a bit about what we do at the State Capitol,” said Representative Lislegard.
