St. Paul, Minn.—State Senator Sandy Pappas (DFL-St. Paul) is participating in the International Woman’s Day at the capitol in conjunction with the Women’s March Minnesota. She will be speaking at a press conference to discuss ERA Minnesota’s legislative agenda.

In addition to the press conference, women from around the state are invited to come to the State Capitol to visit legislator’s offices to carry the message that women’s rights are human rights. At 11:30 a.m. visitors, legislators, and staff will be standing together on the state capitol steps for a photo with legislators and staff.
“I am proud to be the chief author of a Senate resolution memorializing Congress to remove the deadline on the Equal Rights Amendment,” Sen. Pappas said. “The absence of an Equal Rights Amendment is a simple matter of equal access to justice in America.”
