Senator Kent Eken Invites Minnesotans to Attend Upcoming Town Hall Meetings

St. Paul, Minn. – Senator Kent Eken (DFL-Twin Valley) today invited Minnesotans to attend one of nine town hall meetings being held the week after Easter. This is an opportunity for you to meet your elected officials, ask questions, and make comments.


Town hall meetings are taking place as follows:

Tuesday, April 3 (with Representative Paul Marquart)

8:00 a.m. at Ada City Hall

9:30 a.m. at Twin Valley Community Center

11 a.m. at Ulen City Hall

1 p.m. at Dilworth City Hall

2:30 p.m. at Barnesville City Hall

4 p.m. at Hawley City Hall

5:30 p.m. at Cormorant Community Center

7 p.m. at Detroit Lakes City Hall (Hosted by Detroit Lakes Area League of Women Voters)

Eken and Marquart announce legislative listening sessions across district

ST. PAUL, MN – Sen. Kent Eken (DFL-Twin Valley), Rep. Paul Marquart (DFL-Dilworth) and Rep. Ben Lien (DFL-Moorhead) will be participating in several listening sessions next week to discuss the ongoing 2017 legislative session. The meetings will give Senate District 4 residents an opportunity to meet with their legislators and discuss any legislation or issues they’d like to see addressed this session.

4:00 p.m. – Barnesville City Hall – Barnesville, MN

5:30 p.m. – Hawley City Hall – Hawley, MN

7:00 p.m. – Ecumen’s Forest Conference Center – Detroit Lakes, MN – Legislative Town Hall hosted by the Detroit Lakes Area League of Women Voters


Wednesday, April 12 – with Rep. Ben Lien and Rep. Paul Marquart

7:00 a.m. – Moorhead Public Library – Moorhead, MN – MN Legislative Update hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Red River Valley
