Sen. Nick Frentz, Rep. Clark Johnson, and the Nicollet County Farm Bureau Hold Town Hall Meeting for Local Landowners
ST. PAUL, MN– Sen. Nick Frentz (DFL-North Mankato), Rep. Clark Johnson (DFL-North Mankato), and the Niccollet County Farm Bureau will be holding a Town Hall meeting to discuss the buffer strip law.
“I’ve heard some reasonable concerns about buffer law requirements from farmers in and around District 19,” Senator Frentz said. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to hear more from residents, so the way we implement our buffer law makes sense for everyone. I’m glad residents are voicing their concerns and I invite everyone to participate in the discussion this Saturday. All Minnesotans–urban, suburban, and rural–play a role in keeping our water clean.”
