Senate District 61 Town Hall

St. Paul, Minn. – Senator Scott Dibble (DFL-Minneapolis), Representative Frank Hornstein (61A), and Representative-Elect Jamie Long (61B) invite their constituents to attend a town hall meeting on Saturday, January 26 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Mount Olivet Church in Minneapolis. This event is an opportunity to preview the upcoming legislative session, ask questions, share stories and perspectives, and meet their elected officials.

Parking: Free street parking is available in the Mount Olivet parking lot. The preferred entrance is right off of the parking lot. Look for the Administration Building sign and enter door #3.

 

Transit: Metro Transit buses number 4 and 46 stop less than a block from the venue, at the intersection of James Ave. S and W. 50th Street.

 

Biking: There is a bike rack located along James Ave S.

Senate District 61 Legislators to Co-Host Town Hall Meeting Focused on Health Care

ST. PAUL, Minn – Reps. Frank Hornstein and Paul Thissen, and State Senator Scott Dibble, DFL-Minneapolis, are co-hosting a health care town hall meeting. The public is invited to attend and join the conversation. Attendees will be able to receive updates and discuss recent national and state issues and concerns on health care access and financing with physicians, nurses, policy experts, and other health care experts. There will be an opportunity to hear from organizations active on health care issues and learn more about how individuals can get involved.

The town hall is particularly timely following major health care related budget and policy decisions by the Minnesota Legislature and in light of the possibility for a significant vote in the U.S. Senate yet this week.
