Sen. Nick Frentz, Rep. Clark Johnson & Rep. Jack Considine Host Mankato Town Hall Meeting

ST. PAUL, MN – Sen. Nick Frents (DFL-Mankato) will be hosting joint Town Hall Meetings with Representatives Clark Johnson (DFL-North Mankato) and Jack Considine (DFL-Mankato) to discuss the 2018 legislative session. The meeting will give Senate District 19 residents an opportunity to meet with their legislators and discuss any legislation or issues they’d like to see addressed this session.

The Town Hall Meetings will both be held on Saturday, March 10th with the details as follows:

Senator Nick Frentz sends Mankato State students off on their 100-mile trek to St. Paul

ST. PAUL, MN – As budget negotiations continue on higher education, Sen. Nick Frentz (DFL-Mankato) is not only fighting for higher levels of funding, he is supporting local Mankato State students on their 100-mile walk to the Capitol to raise awareness of the need for affordable higher education. Sen. Frentz will be greeting the students and wishing them well at the start of their journey.

Sen. Nick Frentz, Rep. Clark Johnson, and the Nicollet County Farm Bureau Hold Town Hall Meeting for Local Landowners

ST. PAUL, MN– Sen. Nick Frentz (DFL-North Mankato), Rep. Clark Johnson (DFL-North Mankato), and the Niccollet County Farm Bureau will be holding a Town Hall meeting to discuss the buffer strip law.

“I’ve heard some reasonable concerns about buffer law requirements from farmers in and around District 19,” Senator Frentz said. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to hear more from residents, so the way we implement our buffer law makes sense for everyone. I’m glad residents are voicing their concerns and I invite everyone to participate in the discussion this Saturday. All Minnesotans–urban, suburban, and rural–play a role in keeping our water clean.”
