ADVISORY: Senator Tou Xiong to Participate in Metro State Town Hall to Discuss Student Loan Borrower Rights & Protections

ST. PAUL, Minn. — On Thursday, March 28 at 12:00 p.m., Senator Tou Xiong (DFL- Maplewood) will join students to discuss the Student Loan Borrower Bill of Rights and Student Loan Advocate bills that passed the legislature with bipartisan support. This is in effort to educate students on their rights and protections in place to ensure they have the information needed to be responsible borrowers.

Senator Tou Xiong represents Senate District 44 which includes Little Canada, Maplewood, North Saint Paul, and Oakdale. He is vice chair of the Energy, Utilities, Environment, and Climate Committee and serves on the Capital Investment Committee and the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee.
