Senate POCI Caucus & Senate DFL members demand immediate negotiations of the Omnibus Judiciary and Public Safety Budget Bill
On Monday, members of the Senate DFL caucus joined the Senate People of Color and Indigenous (POCI) Caucus in sending a letter to Governor Walz, Speaker Hortman, Leader Gazelka, and other legislative leaders to express their determination to end the persistent racial disparities that plague the state of Minnesota.
Early Wednesday afternoon, a fire broke out at the site of the Northern Metals recycling facility in North Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Fire Department is currently working to extinguish the fire, and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is also on site.
