Bill to invest in housing heard in committee

A bill heard this week in the Senate Housing Finance and Policy Committee would allocate $190 million and reallocate $10 million more for the preservation, expansion, and loan financing of affordable housing in Minnesota. The investment will help ensure more Minnesotans have access to Housing in the State of Minnesota.

The cost of housing across Minnesota has exploded, putting safe affordable housing out of reach for many Minnesotans. Senate DFLers have an opportunity to help Minnesotans access safe, stable, and affordable housing and we will continue to fight to do so. (SF 3677)
