Legislators decry elimination of Minnesota’s campaign finance reforms: Repeal would mean there would be NO limits on spending for future elections
May 3, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am
ST. PAUL, MN – Sen. Carolyn Laine (DFL-Columbia Heights) and Sen. John Marty (DFL-Roseville) will be holding a news conference tomorrow to help bring attention to the Republican efforts to repeal Minnesota’s long-standing campaign finance laws, including candidate spending limits and other reforms that were enacted in response to the Watergate scandal. WHAT: Alerting the public to proposed elimination of Minnesota’s respected campaign finance reforms.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m.
