Lourey to hold last health care round table in St. Paul with Twin Cities health care experts

St. Paul, Minn.—Sen. Tony Lourey (DFL-Kerrick) will be joined by health care leaders in St. Paul on Wednesday October 18 at 2 p.m. to discuss the long-term needs and necessary reforms for health care in Minnesota.

This discussion is the final stop of Lourey’s statewide Health Care Round Table tour, which kicked off Monday September 26. By the end, the tour will have visited with regional experts in 10 cities: Duluth, Ely, Bemidji, Fergus Falls, St. Cloud, Marshall, Blue Earth, Mankato, Rochester, and St. Paul. Each visit has featured Sen. Tony Lourey and regional health care leaders in a free-form discussion of their views and experiences of the health care in Minnesota.

Lourey is the former chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee in the Minnesota Senate. He currently serves as Ranking Member of the Health and Human Services Policy and Finance Committee in the Minnesota Senate.
