Virtual Community Meeting
October 19, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Earlier this year, Senator John Marty (DFL-Roseville) introduced legislation to strike back against the theft of catalytic converters from cars and light trucks. While it was denied a hearing, he and other legislators including Senator Patricia Torres Ray and Representative Jim Davnie have been hearing from their constituents about increased rates of catalytic converter thefts in their districts.
Not only are these thefts inconvenient and frustrating, but they are also extremely expensive. As a result, these three legislators are committed to finding a solution to this problem and will be hosting a virtual community meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to hear about specific problems, get community feedback, and explore possible legislative solutions.
When: Monday, October 19 at 6 pm
