In this difficult budget year, I pledge to do my very best to be responsive to local concerns and be a strong advocate for our communities. Your input will guide the votes I take at the Capitol. Please do not hesitate to call, write, or email my office to share your ideas.
Please participate in a survey I’ve assembled to get your opinions on many of the proposals that are likely coming before me this legislative session. I’d also like to invite you to attend one of the town hall meetings that I will be hosting in the district. These meetings are a great forum to ask me questions, share your thoughts, and receive updates on the activities of the Legislature. I’ve got two upcoming meetings scheduled with Rep. Kate Knuth:
· Tuesday, February 22 at 7p.m. at the New Brighton Family Service Center- Room 224 (400 10th Street, New Brighton). State Demographer Tom Gillaspy will also give a presentation.
· Saturday, February 26 at 10 a.m. at the New Brighton Family Service Center- Room 224
Meetings for the “A” side of the district with Rep. Carolyn Laine will be scheduled in the near future—watch for notice of these events!
