Senator Chris Eaton is a member of the Minnesota DFL representing District 40, which includes the cities of Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park in Hennepin County in the Twin Cities metro area. She was elected in a Special Election in October of 2011 and was reelected in 2012 and again in 2016
Eaton graduated from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where she earned her nursing degree. She is a registered nurse and a member of the Minnesota Nurses Association. She’s been Director of Health Services at Mental Health Resources since 2009 and previously worked as a nurse at Ramsey County Mental Health initiative from 1998 to 2008, and as a nurse and human services tech at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center from 1991 to 1998.
Eaton lives with her husband, Tim, in Brooklyn Center.
