Senator Jason Isaacson

Senator Jason Isaacson was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016 after serving in the House for four years. His current committee assignments include Agriculture, Rural Development, Housing Policy; Higher Education Finance and Policy; Human Services Reform Finance and Policy; and Jobs and Economic Growth Finance and Policy. His top issues include creating living wage jobs for Minnesotans, expanding job skills, and advocating for affordable housing for all. He represents Senate District 42 which includes Arden Hills, Gem Lake, Little Canada, Mounds View, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, and parts of Roseville and Spring Lake Park.

Jason “Ike” Isaacson is a proud husband, father, educator, avid fisherman, and devout sports fan. He lives with his wife, two sons, and daughter in Shoreview. When not at the Legislature, Ike is an instructor at Century College, helping ensure we have the best workforce possible for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Isaacson is a graduate of North Dakota State University and proudly roots for his national champion NDSU Bison.
