Majority Leader Dziedzic Says Grace Arnold Approved to Lead Commerce, Willie Jett II Approved To Lead Education, Tarek Tomes Confirmed to Head Information Technology Services
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic (DFL-Minneapolis) said today that the Senate has confirmed three more commissioners to lead important state agencies, including Grace Arnold as Commerce Commissioner, Willie Jett II as Education Commissioner, and Tarek Tomes as Commissioner of Information Technology Services.
“Today the Senate has confirmed Grace Arnold, Willie Jett II, and Tarek Tomes to lead important state Agencies,” said Majority Leader Dziedzic. “Each of them are leading agencies that Minnesotans depend upon, and by confirming them, we are helping to ensure that that important work on behalf of Minnesota is not disrupted.”
Majority Leader Dziedzic said the Senate DFL Majority will continue to confirm commissioners in a timely fashion. ###
