People of Color and Indigenous Caucus congratulate Bo Thao-Urabe’s appointment to the UMN Board of Regents

“The Minnesota Senate and House of Representatives People of Color and Indigenous (POCI) Caucus members congratulate Bo Thao-Urabe on her recent appointment to the University of Minnesota Board of Regents.

Although the grief of the passing of her predecessor Regent Kao Ly Ilean Her continues to impact our communities across Minnesota, we are confident that Bo Thao-Urabe will continue her legacy and will be a strong voice for our communities at the Regents’ Board. We are ready to partner with her to drive the university’s success.

With Bo Thao-Urabe’s previous experience as senior director of Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy and executive director of Hmong National Development, Inc., we look forward to the meaningful work she will do and celebrate the continued representation of Minnesota’s Hmong community on the Board of Regents.”
