State Senator Jim Carlson (DFL-Eagan and Burnsville) has invited community members to discuss the results of the successful and productive 2014 session. This year’s major legislative accomplishments included tax relief, the Safe and Supportive Schools act, a minimum wage increase, and a strong bonding bill. Sen. Carlson will join the Town Hall meeting hosted by State Representative Sandra Masin on Saturday, June 21.
“As we look back to the previous year, and look forward to the next session, it is important to hear about what is on the minds of the citizens of Burnsville and Eagan. Now is the time for us to work together to form the legislative agenda for 2015,” said Sen. Carlson. “This meeting gives people an opportunity to let me know what their concerns are, to learn more about what we have accomplished the past two years, and what we must focus on in the future.”
The meeting will be held at Junior’s Sports Cafe (1996 Highway 13 East, Burnsville, MN 55337) on Saturday, June 21, at 10:30 A.M. For more information, contact Sen. Carlson’s Legislative Assistant, Michael Quadrozzi, at 651-297-8073, or by email at email@example.com.
