Sen. Koenen: Honored to Serve

Newly sworn in Sen. Lyle Koenen released the following statement Friday:
“I am deeply honored and humbled by the decision of the constituents of District 20 to elect me to the remainder of Sen. Gary Kubly’s Minnesota Senate term. Sen. Kubly was a close colleague and friend of mine, who will be missed by many. His legacy of service to our community was selfless and full of compassion, bringing everyone to the table for the betterment of Minnesota. I hope to honor him by working tirelessly for southwestern Minnesota in the Senate.
Thank you to everyone for their words of encouragement and support during this time. There is a great deal of unfinished business at the Capitol currently, including the passage of legislation to promote job growth and investment in critical infrastructure through a capital investment bill.
With your input, I will ensure our community continues to have a loyal advocate in the Senate. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. My new office is 103 in the State Office Building, and you may contact me by phone, 651-296-5094, or by email, I greatly appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you in the months to come.”
