Sen. Sheran, Reps. Morrow and Brynaert to Host Town Meeting April 2

District 23 legislators will host a series of town hall meetings in communities in our area on Saturday, April 2. Senator Sheran, Reps. Terry Morrow and Kathy Brynaert will be hosting the meetings.

“These meetings offer us a chance to hear from our district about the outcomes they seek from this legislative session,” Sen. Sheran said. “Also, I want to hear about how the various proposals being considered may affect our district.”

The meeting schedule is as follows:

Saturday April 2:

Mankato/North Mankato Town Hall

South Central College

Conference Room A

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Saint Peter Town Hall

Saint Peter Community Center

Governor’s Room

2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

“Talking with folks in our area is a great part of our democratic tradition and one of the best parts of my job,” Representative Morrow stated. “I look forward to hearing ideas and concerns about how Minnesota can best balance our budget while protecting essential needs, like educating our kids, assisting the disabled and others, maintaining public safety, and having everyone share fairly in solving the challenges we face together.”

Rep. Brynaert echoed those thoughts:

“This is an easy way for folks in our area to let us know what they think about what is happening at the Capitol, without having to make a trip to St. Paul. We look forward to sharing information about the work we have done so far and what lies ahead for the end of the legislative session.”
