Senate #BuildMN Tour Traveling Four Days throughout Metro

ST.PAUL, MINN. – The Senate Capital Investment Committee will conduct a final, four-day tour throughout the metro area February 18-21. The tour begins at 8:00 am at the Dorothy Day Center and ends with several visits in Anoka County.

The extensive schedule includes visits to Century College in White Bear Lake, Tubman Center East in Maplewood, Fort Snelling, the Minnesota Zoo, Higher Ground-Minneapolis, and St. David’s Center in Minnetonka.

Senator LeRoy Stumpf (DFL-Plummer) who chairs the Capital Investment Committee has been leading tours throughout the state this fall and winter. The upcoming tour will be the final tour before session and committee hearings begin on February 25. The #BuildMN tour will hear presentations from various city leaders and organizations who have requested funds through the 2014 bonding bill. State legislators from the Twin Cities metro will also be in attendance to highlight projects in their respective districts.

Senator LeRoy Stumpf
