SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Senate DFL Leader Susan Kent (DFL-Woodbury) announces today that John Pollard will serve as the Chief of Staff for the Senate DFL Caucus.
“John brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in policy, budgeting, and communications from his time serving in leadership roles both within the legislature and the executive branch,” said Kent. “I look forward to having him join the Senate as our new Chief of Staff to support our members and staff as we do our work for the people of Minnesota.”
Originally joining the Minnesota State Senate in 1999, Pollard served as the Chief of Staff from 2005-2006, before joining the Minnesota House of Representatives as Executive Assistant to the House Majority Leader from 2006-2010. Most recently, Pollard served as Director of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs with the office of Minnesota Management and Budget.
