Following yesterday’s election, Senate DFL Leader López Franzen released the following statement.
“Yesterday Minnesotans made their voices heard in elections throughout the state, deciding on critical questions for their communities and who they wanted to represent them. Our democracy depends on citizens exercising this fundamental right, and while many of my colleagues on the other side would rather question the results of an election, we accept these results and we will carry on with our work ahead.
As we look forward to the upcoming legislative session, we will continue to listen to the voices of our communities and an agenda that works for them. No matter where you live, every Minnesotan and every community deserves the resources they need to thrive.”
