“Minnesota continues to come together across lines of difference to tackle challenges head on during times of uncertainty because we are stronger together. Governor Walz’s leadership continues to be at the forefront of uniting Minnesotans,” said Senate DFL Leader Susan Kent. “Tonight, the Governor delivered a message of hope and resilience that resonates with members of the legislature and Minnesotans statewide during this public health emergency. Our role in the legislature is imperative in supporting the Governor’s leadership to provide timely and effective solutions that protect our state. We must continue to do the jobs our communities elected us to do in order to ensure the health, safety, and economic security of every Minnesotan—now more than ever.”
