SAINT PAUL, Minn. – In response to the July 13 shooting incident at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania, Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy (DFL-St. Paul) released the following statement:
“Yesterday was a sad day for our country. There is no room in our politics for violence, and each of us plays a part to advance a constructive and civil political engagement in the work of our democracy. I’m grateful the former president is safe and grieve the loss of life.”
