ST. PAUL, Minn. – The 2021 Legislative Session began Tuesday, January 5 with the swearing-in of 67 new and returning members of the Minnesota Senate, including State Senator Steve Cwodzinski (DFL-Eden Prairie) who will be serving his second term in office.
“I am honored that the residents of Senate District 48 have entrusted me with the great privilege of being their senator for another term and I will do my utmost best to serve and work on behalf of all 80,000 people I represent,” said Senator Cwodzinski. “We have a lot of work to do as we continue to address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, create a balanced and fair budget, and ensure our recovery leaves no one behind.”
Senator Cwodzinski will be serving on three committees for the 2021 Session. He will serve as the DFL-Lead on the Local Government Policy Committee, and will also be serving on the Education Finance and Policy and Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Legacy Finance Committees.
