SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Senator Scott Dibble, DFL-Minneapolis, releases the following statement in light of the recent anti-Semitic attacks in the country.
“I strongly condemn the recent anti-Semitic attacks in Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Chicago and Monsey, New York. The rise in anti-Semitism is real and will continue to grow unless people of good will speak out against it. We will not tolerate hate or bigotry and we cannot turn a blind eye to the rising hatred we are seeing in this country. This impacts all of us. It cannot become our new normal. These attacks violate everything that Minnesotans hold dear. An attack on any marginalized community is a threat to what makes our state and our country great, a place where everyone’s gifts, regardless of the circumstance of birth, are welcome and valued.”
