Senator Erik Simonson named Ranking Minority Member on Energy and Utilities Finance and Policy Committee

St. Paul, Minn. – On Monday State Senator Erik Simonson (DFL-Duluth) was named the ranking minority member on the Senate Energy and Utilities Finance and Policy Committee for the 2019-2020 legislative sessions.

“Over the next few months of the legislative session, my colleagues and I will be hearing from members of the community, advocates, and industry leaders about the work that we need to do in our energy and utility sectors,” said Sen. Simonson. “I remain committed to upholding Minnesota’s thorough and science-based regulatory process and I look forward to working with the other members of the committee in creating policies and legislation that can help consumers, businesses, and our state continue to lead in these vital sectors.”
