Senator Foung Hawj Visits the Heights Redevelopment Project

ST. PAUL, Minn. — On Wednesday, Senator Foung Hawj (DFL-St. Paul) visited the construction site of the Heights at the site of the former Hillcrest Golf Club in the heart of Saint Paul’s Greater East Side.

Senator Foung Hawj (DFL-St. Paul) releases the following statement:

“I was delighted to visit the Heights to see the progress on its construction this week. As the the largest modern-day investment in the Greater East Side, this redevelopment will reinvigorate our community and promote prosperity in our city. It will provide space for a hundreds of high-quality jobs, 1,000 homes for people of all ages and incomes, and 20 acres of green space, including a five-acre city park, trails and wetlands. I carried the bill that provided state funds for this project and am proud to see it grow.”

The Heights redevelopment is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026.
