SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Young American Leaders Program announced their 2020 Twin Cities youth leaders and can be found here. This highly competitive selection process originated in 2015 at the Harvard Business School to bring city-based groups of rising youth leaders from business, government and non-profit organizations together for three days to increase their knowledge of the state and trajectory of our national and regional economic development, provide tools for cross-sector collaboration, and grow networks of rising leaders who can lead together in the future for the public good.
“It’s a privilege and an honor to be one of the participants to the Harvard Business School’s program in June 2021,” said Senator Melisa Franzen, DFL-Edina. “The opportunity to engage with other amazing leaders from Minnesota is a great way to foster ideas to bring back to the Legislature. It will add to my pursuit to be a more effective legislator for my constituents and continue to contribute to the state of Minnesota.”
The successful applicants were chosen based on their track record and potential trajectory in both their professional and civic engagement lives. Harvard Business School rescheduled its program in Boston for June 2021. Minnesota’s program is scheduled for October 7-9 at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
