Senator Heather Gustafson Statement on Federal Charges Against Justin Eichorn

Vadnais Heights, Minn. – On Wednesday, March 19, Senator Justin Eichorn was charged in federal court for soliciting a minor for sex.

Senator Heather Gustafson (DFL – Vadnais Heights) released the following statement:

I am horrified by the allegations that Senator Justin Eichorn attempted to pay for sex with a minor. This is not just a betrayal of public trust—it’s a grave and dangerous crime. Survivors of sexual violence deserve better than the hypocrisy of a lawmaker who has the power to protect Minnesotans yet allegedly engages in behavior that endangers them. Senator Eichorn must resign immediately and be held fully accountable.
