Assistant DFL Leader Jeff Hayden was recognized as ‘Legislator of the Year’ by the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH) at their 2020 Framing the Future virtual annual conference.
“Minnesotans impacted by chemical dependency should have access to the resources and treatment they need on their path to recovery. With communities of color disproportionally affected by chemical dependency, it is critical more than ever that robust and efficient prevention efforts are made to address environmental factors that lead to chemical dependency,” said Assistant DFL Leader Senator Jeff Hayden. “I am honored to receive this recognition from MARRCH and am grateful for their continued advocacy and partnership.”
MARRCH is a professional association of addiction treatment professionals and organizations striving to raise awareness about addiction and the power of recovery. The organization represents more than 75 agencies and more than 2,000 individuals (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, students, other behavioral health professionals) with members in every region of Minnesota.
